Omegler

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This policy explains what data Omegler (omegler.app) collects when you use the website or the Android app, why, who it is shared with and what your rights are. Omegler is a video chat that connects you at random with other adults.

1. Data controller

The data controller is White Label Solutions LTD, 8th Floor, Ebene Tower, 52 Cybercity, Ebene, Republic of Mauritius, publisher of Omegler (omegler.app).

For any question about your data, write to us at contact@omegler.app or through the Support form of the app (Account menu).

2. Data we collect

3. Video, sound, messages and moderation captures

Video and sound go directly from one device to the other (WebRTC, end-to-end encrypted). When a direct connection is not possible, they go through a relay server that cannot decrypt them. We do not record the video or the sound of the conversations.

Text messages go through our server only to be delivered to your partner, in real time. They are not stored.

Moderation captures. For everyone's safety, still images of your own camera may be taken while you use the video chat, in particular when someone reports you (so that the moderation can check the report), as well as during the checks of the moderation of White Label Solutions LTD.

Only the image of your camera is captured, never your partner's, and only when your camera is on. These captures are stored on our servers, visible only to the moderators, and automatically deleted after 30 days. Each capture records the moderator who asked for it. They are also explained in the FAQ of the website.

We do no face recognition and do not automatically analyse the content of the conversations.

4. What the person you chat with sees

Your video, your voice (if your microphone is on), your messages, and your country, gender and age. Your name and email are never shown.

Since the video connection is direct, your partner's device technically receives your IP address, as with any video call. Do not share personal information during a conversation: the other person can record their screen and we cannot prevent it.

Bots. When nobody is free, the bot mode (on by default, can be turned off with Premium in the filters) may show you a bot: a short muted video of a person generated by artificial intelligence (not a real person), always marked "Bot". It is sent to you by our server as a video call, like a user's video. A bot is not a user: it does not talk and does not answer. This call only goes one way: your video, your voice and your messages are sent neither to the bot, nor to our server, nor to anyone else. A real person always comes first as soon as someone is free.

5. Why we use your data

We do not sell your data and we show no advertising.

6. Who we share your data with

Your data is hosted in France and managed by White Label Solutions LTD from the Republic of Mauritius.

7. How long we keep data

8. Adults only

Omegler is forbidden to people under 18. We ask your age when you start and refuse minors. If you think a minor is using the service, report them with the flag during the conversation or write to us: the account will be deleted.

9. Security

Exchanges with our servers are encrypted (HTTPS), video and sound are encrypted between the two devices, passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfect: tell us if you notice a problem.

10. Your rights

You can at any time access your data (including the moderation captures about you), correct it, delete it, object to its use or ask for a copy, by writing to contact@omegler.app or through the Support form. You can also contest a decision of the moderation (suspension or ban) at the same address.

Delete your account: in the app, Account menu then Delete account. Your name, email, phone, password, technical data, chat profile, reports and moderation captures are erased. A ban in progress is kept until it ends. A Google Play subscription must be cancelled in the Play Store.

If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius (dataprotection.govmu.org) or to the data protection authority of your country (in France: CNIL, www.cnil.fr).

11. Cookies

The service uses the cookies and local storage needed for it to work: staying logged in, remembering your language and filters (including the bot mode), knowing whether you already have an account on this device, and the random device identifier used to enforce bans.

On the website omegler.app, we also use Google Analytics to measure the audience and the performance of our ads, only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Without your consent, no measurement cookie is set. These cookies last 13 months at most, and you can change your mind at any time with the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the pages. No other advertising or tracking cookie is used.

12. Changes

We may change this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version; for an important change, we tell you in the app.
